Job Summary

Occupational Therapist, Inpatient The occupational therapist provides evaluations and re-evaluations for assigned adult patients in outpatient, acute, and acute rehabilitation settings. The role includes developing therapeutic treatment programs, updating care plans, managing a full caseload, and determining when re-evaluations are required based on authorization.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute care settings; valid Hawaii license required by the start of the assignment; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients, implementing therapeutic treatment programs as prescribed, regularly updating treatment plans and home exercise programs, independently managing a full caseload, and working Hawaii state and federal holidays as needed based on operations. Arrival is required on the Thursday before the assignment begins to complete an employee health appointment on Friday.
