Job Summary

Registered Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist position supporting neurodiagnostic testing, including electroencephalography, evoked potentials, autonomic studies, nerve conduction studies, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. The role performs patient preparation, diagnostic data acquisition, equipment operation, safety monitoring, troubleshooting, and accurate documentation in support of clinical evaluation and treatment planning.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate; graduate of an accredited neurodiagnostic technology program or two years of relevant neurodiagnostic technology experience in the laboratory of hire; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with nerve conduction studies required; demonstrated competency in neurodiagnostic procedural testing, electroencephalography, and evoked potentials; proficiency in patient preparation, data acquisition, communication, problem-solving, organization, computer skills, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree; neuromuscular experience; preferred certification appropriate to the practice area, including Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP), Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.), Certified Long-Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM), Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R. NCS. T.), Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T.), Certified Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM), or Certified Nerve Conduction Technician (CNCT).
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week; no weekends, on-call shifts, or holidays.
• Additional Information: Performs routine, ambulatory, prolonged, and inpatient electroencephalography studies; applies and maintains electrodes using the international 1020 system; conducts autonomic procedures such as tilt-table testing, heart-rate variability, and sweat testing; performs advanced nerve conduction studies and provides technical support for physician-performed electromyography; acquires and analyzes transcranial magnetic stimulation data and co-registers findings with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images; monitors patient safety and comfort; communicates technical findings to physicians and learners; participates in training, education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous quality improvement; and maintains compliance with applicable quality, safety, ethical, and patient privacy standards.
• Assignment Dates: 11/09/2026 through 02/07/2027.
