Job Summary

Pharmacist, Inpatient Pharmacy. The position supports safe and effective medication use by evaluating physician drug orders for patient-specific appropriateness. Responsibilities include reviewing medication safety, efficacy, dosing, indications, allergies, interactions, age, weight, and renal function, including support for a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include processing physician drug orders and evaluating medications for patient-specific safety and efficacy, including review of the medication, dose, dosing interval, indication, allergies, drug-drug and drug-food interactions, patient age, patient weight, and renal function. Hospital pharmacy experience supporting a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit is highly valued.
