Job Summary

MRI Technologist MRI. The role performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations across inpatient and outpatient settings, including advanced studies and examinations involving neurostimulators and pacemakers. The position requires intravenous access skills, patient safety screening, and the ability to work independently after department orientation.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; valid license required for submission; minimum of 1 year of experience; intravenous access experience; experience screening neurostimulators and pacemakers.
Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. Set shifts rotate between MondayWednesday and ThursdaySaturday, with potential ThursdaySaturday shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and alternating Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Weekend work follows the assigned rotation.
Additional Information: Performs approximately 1012 scans per day, including extremity, abdominal, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography, and specialized brain studies. Duties include inpatient and outpatient imaging, intravenous placement, patient screening, and operation of 1.5-tesla scanners. Radiology assistants support patient transport. Radiation badges are provided by the facility. Department orientation includes one week with an experienced technologist, followed by supported independent shifts.
