Job Summary

Interventional Radiology CL: This position performs specialized radiographic and interventional procedures in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. The role supports safe, efficient patient care by producing high-quality images, educating patients and families, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting radiation safety and equipment quality control.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved and accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; state regulatory agency licensure when applicable; advanced specialty certification by the applicable accrediting body within 18 months of hire when required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; cath lab experience; clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience; effective communication and human relations skills; ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, verifies referring provider orders, educates patients and families, prepares images and documentation for interpretation, administers radiopharmaceuticals and approved medications when applicable, performs equipment quality control, maintains radiation safety, and supports department workflow and inventory management. The role may direct the activities of students and support staff and requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, stretch, assist with patient transfers, and respond to patient care needs.
