Job Summary

Dietitian Cleveland East. Provides quality nutritional care through the development, implementation, and monitoring of Medical Nutrition Therapy. The role supports nutrition assessments, nutrition support regimens, patient and staff education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation of nutrition care plans.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree with major studies in a food and nutrition-related field; current state licensure or certification if required by the state; current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; at least one year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs nutrition assessments and reassessments, identifies nutrition goals and interventions, monitors patient progress, and provides clear and concise medical record documentation. Develops and monitors enteral and parenteral nutrition support regimens in collaboration with pharmacy and medical staff. Provides nutrition education and counseling, participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and rounds, supports menu planning and therapeutic diet review, conducts meal rounds and tray audits, and contributes to performance improvement activities.
