Job Summary

CT Technologist, CT. The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures for adolescent, infant, adult, and pediatric patients in acute care and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include operating computed tomography equipment, administering contrast media, maintaining radiation safety, and supporting emergency, trauma, intensive care, and inpatient imaging needs.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), ARRT R, and ARRT-Xray certifications; compact license in hand at submission; competency in computed tomography procedures, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, venipuncture, peripheral intravenous starts, trauma imaging, vascular computed tomography angiography, multiplanar reconstruction, three-dimensional rendering, and image-guided measurements.
• Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: On-call coverage and weekend call coverage are required. The technologist may be expected to cover X-ray within scope. Clinical responsibilities may include imaging patients in the emergency department, intensive care, acute care, outpatient, and trauma settings, as well as managing isolation precautions and personal protective equipment.
