Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Pearland, Texas. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a procedural and recovery setting. The role requires the ability to take call and may include participation in interventional radiology procedures.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of two years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience; ability to take call; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Schedule: Day shift, eight-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral angiography, stenting, Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump procedures, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator procedures, electrophysiology studies, thrombectomy, laser procedures, directional atherectomy, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Additional Information: The technologist may support five recovery bays and procedural rooms with a patient ratio of one technologist per procedural room and five recovery patients. One week of call per month is required. Float rotation may include interventional radiology. Navy scrubs are provided.
