Job Summary

CT Technologist in Tacoma, Washington. This position provides diagnostic imaging services for pediatric patients from birth through 18 years of age across a range of diagnoses. The role requires high-quality image production, strong communication, multitasking, kindness and patience when working with children and their parents, and the ability to work independently.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts scheduled Sunday, Monday, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with Tuesday call from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; 10-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Associate degree or equivalent education in radiologic technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in computed tomography (ARRT-CT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Washington state licensure.
- Dual CT and X-ray technologist capability for night or weekend assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric experience.
- Consideration may be given to first-time travelers.
Additional Information:
- Provides imaging services for patients from 0 to 18 years of age with varied diagnoses.
- May use Siemens Definition Edge and Biograph mCT Flow Edge positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) equipment.
- Weekend rotation depends on the assigned shift.
- Limited off-hours weekend call may be required, not exceeding 24 hours per month.
- Any scrub color is acceptable.
- Free garage and street parking are available; light rail may be preferred when parking is difficult.
