Job Summary

CT Technologist, Computed Tomography, Northern California. Responsible for operating radiographic and computed tomography equipment while performing at least two imaging modalities on a regular basis. The role supports safe, efficient medical imaging services, including patient transport, mobile imaging, contrast preparation, and equipment safety checks.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; Friday through Sunday.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in radiologic technology.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
  • Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • Masters degree.
  • Three years of technical experience.
  • Certification in two additional advanced imaging modalities, including Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Sonography.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs radiographic and computed tomography examinations according to demonstrated competency.
  • Performs two imaging modalities competently.
  • Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
  • Performs mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging examinations as needed.
  • Prepares contrast agents safely for medical imaging procedures.
  • Tests defibrillators and checks crash cart integrity.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
