Job Summary

Nuclear Medicine Technologist, NUC. This role provides quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and supports the Radiologist during procedures. Responsibilities include image processing and transmission, operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, and delivery of clinically appropriate imaging services.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current state nuclear medicine license; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT); current BCLS certification; computed tomography (CT) or fusion certification; at least one year of acute clinical radiology experience; extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology; and proficient computer skills.

  • Supports the Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Processes and transmits images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Demonstrates knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
