Description
Job Summary
Technologist, CT Technologist, Philadelphia, PA. The position provides patient care under the direction of a licensed physician while applying established clinical methods and techniques. The role collaborates with patients, families, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize care and support safe clinical outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Multistate Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree; 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
- Additional Information:
- Assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Applies principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice.
- Uses the nursing process to coordinate individualized patient care.
- Collaborates with patients, family members, significant others, professional peers, and other healthcare team members.
- Directs nursing support staff in accordance with nursing practice standards and applicable departmental policies and procedures.
- Additional specialty-specific education, training, or certifications may be required.
