Job Summary

CT Technologist, CT, location not specified. The position performs computed tomography and related radiology examinations for adolescent, infant, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients. The role includes evening and weekend coverage, scheduled call shifts, and a broad range of routine and emergent imaging responsibilities.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 30 hours per week; weekend coverage and block scheduling are required. One to three call shifts per month may be required.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ARRT R and ARRT CT certifications
  • Valid compact state license in hand at submission
  • Required charting system experience
  • Experience with at least one of the following: GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, or PACS
  • Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient imaging, contrast administration, isolation precautions, peripheral intravenous access, and imaging of the abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical spine, lumbar spine, thoracic spine, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Community hospital experience
• Additional Information:
  • Expected to perform routine CT and radiology examinations, including examinations involving contrast.
  • May provide imaging services for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, older adults, and geriatric patients.
  • May support emergent interventional radiology procedures performed in the CT setting.
  • Interdisciplinary support includes intravenous therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
  • Orientation includes 40 hours.
  • Three of five designated holidays must be worked, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, or New Years Day.
