Job Summary

Physical Therapist, Inpatient. This acute care position provides physical therapy services for inpatient populations across medical-surgical, telemetry, and intensive care settings, with limited emergency and pediatric coverage. The role includes evaluation and treatment of orthopedic, neurological, wound care, lymphedema, and joint-replacement patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; schedule is Sunday through Thursday.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active license required for submission.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
  • General acute care experience required, including experience with total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides inpatient physical therapy services primarily for medical-surgical, telemetry, and intensive care patients.
  • Limited coverage may include emergency and pediatric patients.
  • Common patient populations include orthopedic, neurological, wound care, lymphedema, and joint-replacement cases.
  • Floor-specific orientation includes several shifts.
  • Weekend coverage is normally three shifts per quarter, with scheduling options that may include Saturday, Sunday, or both.
