Description
Shift:
Days, Monday - Wed 3-12 or Sun - Wed 4-10 hour days. 40 Hours.
Work Experience:
Work Experience:
- Performs ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians.
- Produces images of internal body tissues in order to diagnose and monitor a variety of conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy and cancer.
- Supervises and mentors ultrasound students. Maintains equipment.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
License:
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS):: Required
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI RVS) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or ARRT-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS): Required
Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
