RN II-Short Stay (CNA)Responsible for the pre and post operative/procedure care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with a variety of health care needs and disease processes. Care includes technical skills, equipment, assessment, pre and post education and discharge in a fast paced environment. Minimum of one year experience in pre and post op diagnostic cath lab preferred. This position is represented by CNA.
requirement:
Outpatient Surgery Unit, Variable Shift, 3 12's, start time 0500, 0700 or 0800. Monday-Friday Variable Days - 6 week schedules so will know ahead of time, ACLS, PALS, 2 years in Pre op/Perioperative (Not OR), NO call required.Education and Work Experience:Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: RequiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing: PreferredCompletion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia class with passing score: RequiredMinimum 6 months experience in medical surgical nursing in last 2 years: PreferredMinimum of one year experience in pre and post op diagnostic cath lab: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Current RN license in state of practice: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): RequiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification: RequiredRegistered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer: Required
