Description

Job Duties:
The surgical technologists/first assistant is responsible for ensuring the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. 
The surgical technologist/first assistant handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.    Required Certifications & Licensure:
Education: Trade or Technical School (Certificate or diploma)
Certifications: NBSTSA / CSFA Certification required, BLS is mandatory within three months
