Description

Shift: Night Tech Position: The night tech schedule typically runs from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch, totaling 11 working hours per shift. One week consists of three 11-hour shifts (33 hours) The following week consists of four 11-hour shifts (44 hours) During the initial training period, the schedule will differ. Training hours will be either five 8‑hour shifts or four 10‑hour shifts, depending on the trainer’s availability.

Work Experience:
The Medical Laboratory Technician - Medical Laboratory Scientist performs specimen processing, testing, and reporting of test results in compliance with regulatory requirements, policy and procedures, and the TCRHCC’s goal of providing quality patient care. The position is in the laboratory that provides sub-specialties of service in a hospital setting, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood bank, microbiology, and clinical microscopy · A minimum of one (1) year of approved clinical laboratory experience, must include clinical rotation through blood bank, microbiology, chemistry and hematology. Education: High school graduate or GED, AND
License:
ASCP AMT Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
