Description
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders for hospitalized patients, ensuring appropriate dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and compliance with hospital policies.
- Prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, supervise pharmacy technicians, and maintain accurate medication inventory and controlled substances.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy, provide drug information, and support safe, evidence-based patient care.
- Monitor patient medication therapy, document clinical interventions, participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
IV Certification, PharmD*, RPh Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification. ACLS
