Description
- Prepare tissue samples for examination
Process, fix, embed, cut, and mount tissue specimens onto slides for microscopic study. - Perform staining techniques
Apply routine and special stains to highlight tissue structures and abnormalities. - Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Use instruments like microtomes and tissue processors, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration. - Assist in diagnosis and maintain records
ASCP-HT, Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
