Description
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients for imaging and treatment procedures.
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment such as PET and SPECT scanners to capture diagnostic images.
- Monitor patient safety, explain procedures, and follow radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure.
- Analyze image quality, maintain records, and work with physicians to help diagnose and treat diseases
ARRT N*, ARRT R*, NMTCB (or ARRT N), PET*, State License CA Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
