Description
Schedule Notes: On call is required - Call is around 8 shifts/month. Must respond within 30 minutes of notification.
Hours Per Day: 8.00

Duties: General Description: Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases. Essential Responsibilities: -Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. -Utilizing entry-level knowledge, abilities, skills and available resources, provides safe, high quality, efficient and cost-effective patient-centric care and support services under routine or emergent conditions in a variety of care settings to include, but not limited to; acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers and remote statewide outreach clinics.
Education: Required Education: -Associate’s degree or higher required. -ONE of the following: --Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with an emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty. --Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with an emphasis in radiologic technology. --Completion of a Paramedic training program.
Required Certifications & Licensure: - AHA BLS. -Must meet applicant eligibility requirements and published standards for ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) within 12 months of hire date. OR -Successful completion of Paramedic training program achieved within 12 months of hire date.
