Description
Duties: Job Summary:Under direct supervision, assists in the performance of a variety of Neurophysiology procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of nerve and brain disorders. Job Responsibilities:-Responsibilities listed in this section are core to this position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.-Records and identifies various Neurophysiology data in various settings.-After supervised orientation: obtains patient history, attaches patient electrodes and operates Neurophysiology equipment, during operation of equipment observe studies, analyzes wave graphs, makes documentations to indicate disorders, artifact, and responsible for settings adjustments.
Education: Required Education:-High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education:-Associate’s degree in science of health related field.
Required Certifications & Licensure:-Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required
:-Certified Neurodiagnostics Technologist or Neurophysiology.
Schedule Notes: • 7am – 5:30pm • 4 – 10hour / days / 40hours a week • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday • Off Wednesday– Unless covering on-call, monitoring, or holiday
