Description
Duties: General Description:-Under general supervision, performs professional Occupational Therapy activities consisting of planning, evaluating, establishing and implementing individual and group treatment activities under the direction of a physician. Essential Responsibilities:-Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position.-Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.-Interpret a physician’s referral and select an appropriate standardized evaluation procedure.-Evaluate patient in the following areas: independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills and various psychosocial skills.-Interpret the data and develop a treatment plan involving short and long term goals, frequency and duration of treatment.
Education: Required Education:-Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Required Certifications & Licensure:-Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist. -Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
