Description
Duties: General Description: Under general supervision, performs advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations. Circulates to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned by the supervisor (For example, surgery, trauma, and pediatrics) and is recognized as an expert in his/her field, or participates in a training program to enhance knowledge and skills in other specialized radiology areas or modalities. Essential Responsibilities: -Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.
Education: Required Education: -Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty. OR -Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.
Required Certifications & Licensure: -ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department must be current upon hire or advancement. -AHA BLS.
Schedule Notes: Must be a registered Mammography Tech with a minimum of three years of experience.
Hours Per Day: 8.00
