Description
Duties: General Description: Under general supervision, will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas that are served by the department. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Administers therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff. Records treatment information and patient’s treatment response in their computerized medical record. Acts as a resource person to medical staff. Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients.
Education: Education: Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire. The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be received within 12 months of hire. null
