Description
Duties: .
- Operate MRI equipment to produce clear and accurate diagnostic images of patients' internal body structures.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort during the examination.
- Follow MRI safety protocols by screening patients for metal implants, medical devices, and other contraindications before scanning.
- Review image quality and maintain records,
Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -One (1) year of MRI experience. -Relevant Equipment experience.
Education: Required Education: -Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
Required Certifications & Licensure: -A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH. -Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). OR The American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Schedule Notes: - Shift: 12AM - 8AM, alternating weekends and holidays required - At least 1 year of MRI experience in an acute setting - Knowledge of GE equipment - Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). - NYSDOH Rad Tech license required - Required Education: -Associate's degree from a Radiologic Technology program -
