Description

Shift: 3*8 Work Experience:
Patient Care
- Evaluation: Independently assesses hearing and/or vestibular function through the use of diagnostic tests and other appropriate procedures, in compliance with guidelines set by the department and regulating agencies.
-- Documentation and Communication: Independently interprets test findings with prompt dissemination of results using professional oral and written communication.
-Aids physicians and other providers in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral and central auditory disorders.
-Counsels patients and families, as well as other professionals, regarding hearing loss and options for (re)habilitation including, but not limited to hearing technology, communication options and educational services through the use of outcomes measures and referrals to appropriate service providers. Education:
-Master's Degree in Audiology. License:

Pennsylvania Audiologist License issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (often preferred or required by employers).

Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
