Description
Under general supervision, performs diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider.
-Ensures testing is performed safely and with the highest quality standards, maintaining a consistent focus on patient‑centric care.
-Prepares patients for procedures and reviews clinical history to align with provider-ordered tests.
-Responds to inquiries from patients and family members, provides clear information regarding diagnostic testing and expected result timelines.
-Collaborate with team members across OU Health including Providers to provide exceptional patient care.
-Utilizes a variety of highly specialized mammography equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic procedures in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines. Education:
Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT. License:
ARRT(RT)(M) Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
