Description

Shift:
Evening Shift, start 1pm. 8 hour shift but could go till 10 pm sometimes Work Experience:

Accommodates STAT orders consistently reporting within one hour or as soon as available. Calls all critical values and critical test results to providers within 60 minutes of being available. Completes all required documentation.
Assists Director of Laboratory Services in ensuring that all lab procedures and safety protocols are followed. Alerts supervisor when abnormalities or irregularities in the test are encountered while maintaining a workload productivity of at least 90%.
Assists in ensuring that the department is continuously prepared for all regulatory surveys.

Education: BS or BA in Medical Technology related sciences required License: Currently licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the State of California Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
