Description

SHIFT: OR Tech- 7A-5P
EXP: Min 2yrs;
CERT: BLS

NOTE: SCHEDULED 40HRS, WORKS 36 after breaks
REQ: MUST have Vascular & Ortho exp

Summary:
The OR Tech, under general supervision by the OR Manager/Surgery Center Manager is a member of the OR Team, working with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists and ancillary support personnel whose primary function is scrubbing for surgical cases. Other functions include handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases. When fully trained the OR Tech assumes responsibility for call.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:2yrs
Previous hospital experience as an OR technologist preferred
Must have experience working Vascular & Ortho cases.

Licensure/Certification:
· CST Certification
