Work Experience:
Typically 1–3 years of experience in cardiovascular diagnostic or interventional settings; advanced roles require more (e.g., for invasive cath lab support) Education:
Associate’s degree (minimum) in Cardiovascular Technology, Sonography, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, or relevant allied health field. Some prefer Bachelor’s degree in the same fields License:
Certification via CCI (e.g., RCIS, CCT) or ARDMS (for echo/vascular) is often required or strongly preferred Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS often preferred or required in invasive settings
