Job Description:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in an inpatient setting. The role will involve covering all areas and floors within the hospital, utilizing a range of respiratory therapy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy to patients in various units, including ER, Rehab, and Sleep Lab.
- Perform EKGs, bedside bronchodilations, and spirometry.
- Utilize ventilators, bipaps, and high flow oxygen therapy.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center is required.
- BLS, ACLS, RRT, or CRT certification is mandatory. NRP & PALS preferred.
- Ability to work every third weekend during the day and rotate holidays with permanent staff.
