Travel-Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Description:

Data Collection: 04/08/2026. The role involves working within the Radiology (Nuclear Medicine) unit at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital, ensuring familiarity with GE Nuc Med equipment and performing a variety of scans and imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform Lexi Scans, Hida Scans, Gastric Emptying, Pulmonary Ventilation, Bone Scan, Liver Scans, Thyroid Scans, Renal Scans, GI Bleed
Operate GE equipment effectively
Adhere to radiation safety and Texas regulations
Participate in rotating on-call duties and assist with weekend shifts

Requirements:

Experience with GE equipment
Familiarity with GE Nuc Med equipment, cardiac imaging
Knowledge in Radiation Safety, Texas Regulations
CNMT and Texas Medical Board certifications
