Cath Lab Technologist
City/State: Bakersfield, California
Shift: 10 Hour Days, 07:00:00-17:00:00, EOW, first to float, call required
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 05/11/2026
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting with procedures in the catheterization lab, working with a team of professionals to perform tasks such as scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamics, and providing conscious sedation under the direction of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in catheterization lab procedures with a team of professionals.
- Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during procedures.
- Assist with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips.
- Operate balloon pumps and contribute to various cardiovascular procedures.
- Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases, including weekend duties.
Requirements:
- Current Cath Lab experience required.
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy.
- Comfortable with STEMI receiving facility environments.
- Experienced in Cardiac/Coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention.
