Description

Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist

City/State: Washington, District of Columbia

Shift: Days - 5x8, 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care and treatment to patients with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. The therapist will work primarily with adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations, utilizing assessment methods and personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 55+ patients per week, ensuring treatment plans are aligned with clinic productivity standards.
  • Conduct assessments such as Fall Risk Assessment to guide treatment plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic conditions, including ACL Tear, Disc Herniation, and Rotator Cuff Repair.
  • Provide case management and document patient progress in the NextGen electronic health record system.

Requirements:

  • Professional Ortho Skills in conditions such as Achilles Tendonitis, Back Pain-Post Operative, and Plantar Fasciitis.
  • Neuro Skills in managing Concussion, Parkinson's Disease, and Vestibular/Vertigo conditions.
  • Preference for candidates with 1+ years of experience, but open to new graduates.
  • Ability to achieve a minimum of 11 visits per day, maintaining a high level of patient care and engagement.
