Nuclear Medicine Technician - FT

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Job Description:
York Hospital in York, Maine is currently looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technician to work Monday through Friday, split hours between our Cardiology outpatient Office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for nuclear stress testing and for our Main Campus in York, Maine for general nuclear medicine testing. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Start needed as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of general nuclear medicine studies as well as cardiac studies
- IV insertion
- Safe handling/storage of radioactive materials
- Maintaining American College of Radiography NM Accreditation
- Maintaining State of Maine Radioactive Materials license
- Detailed documentation
- Excellent communication with Cardiologist/Radiologists to ensure quality exams
- Exceptional Patient Care
Requirements:
- 1+ yrs nuclear medicine experience (preferred)
- BLS Certification
- CNMT licensure
