Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is responsible for providing care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those with ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS. The RN will perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, and utilize advanced monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities:

Provide critical care to CVICU patients
Utilize skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
Assist with advanced cardiac devices such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT

Requirements:

Strong critical care CVICU experience
Certifications in ACLS and BLS
Experience with advanced cardiac procedures
