Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) provides professional nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting with a bed capacity of 27. The role includes managing patient care with a typical ratio of 4-6:1.

Responsibilities:

• Perform RSI, Sepsis interventions, and Stroke protocol with tPA administration
• Manage central line placement and provide care for psychiatric patients
• Coordinate transfers to other facilities according to EMTALA

Requirements:

• Completion of 2-3 travel assignments in ER settings
• Minimum of 2-3 years ER experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Preferred experience in high acuity, fast-paced ER environments
