Description

Job Title: Speech Therapist - Speech Therapy

City/State: Spearfish, South Dakota

Shift: 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00

Contract Length: 84 weeks

Start Date: June 20 or June 27, 2026

Job Description:

This is primarily an outpatient speech therapist position with occasional inpatient coverage, focusing on evaluating and treating patients from early childhood to end of life with a variety of speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat speech and language disorders, voice, swallowing/feeding, cognitive-linguistic communication, fluency, and augmentative/alternative communication.
Perform video fluoroscopic swallow evaluations in the radiology department.
Provide occasional inpatient coverage, primarily working independently with departmental support.

Requirements:

ASHA CCC-SLP designation.
South Dakota state licensure.
BLS certification.
Experience with Epic charting system and Dragon dictation.
