Cath Lab Technologist
City/State: Bakersfield, California
Shift: 10 Hour Days, 07:00:00-17:00:00, EOW, call required
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, including coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, and neuro intervention cases. Technologists work collaboratively with nursing staff, taking part in scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and aiding with conscious sedation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures with two technologists: one scrubs while the other monitors hemodynamics.
- Assist the RN in administering conscious sedation.
- Rotate on-call duty for inpatient and emergent cases.
- Work in coordination with a 'Lead Tech' to manage room assignments.
Requirements:
- Certification in ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy.
- Current experience in cath lab.
- Proficiency with cardiac drips, airway management, and procedural processes.
