General Information:
Number of Beds (if applicable): 7 Pre/ Post Bays, 2 procedural suites
Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes with at least 2-years experience
Patient Types:
Outpatient and Inpatient: Biopsies, UFE’s, Kyphoplasties, Port placement, Dx angiograms, Interventional Arterial procedures, Interventional Venous procedures, IVC placement, Venous Thrombectomies, Neurological Thrombectomies, Coilings, Aneurysm rupture repair, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
Patient Ratios:
1:1- Procedure rooms, up to 1:3 in pre/post area
Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Skills required:
ICU care, moderate sedation, art line, medication titration, chest tube
Support on the Unit:
Charge nurse
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: Cerner
IV pumps: Plum 360
Medication dispensing: Omnicell
Monitors: Spacelabs
Floating: If yes, where?
Only to other procedural areas if skillset applies- for ex: cath lab pre/ post area
Orientation:
2 shifts in unit, 1-2 shifts in education/ onboarding
Scheduling:
Unit is open to routine procedures M-F 0630-1630 and available for emergencies 24/7
On call- staffing dependent but typically every 4th weekend and 1 night during the week
Holiday Expectations: Will be treated equally between core staff and travel staff. Core staff are required to cover 1 Winter holiday (Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, and New years) and 1 Summer holiday (July 4th, Memorial day, Labor Day)
Approval of time off? Approved by Manager
Shift times: 2 types- (4- 10hr shifts per week with rotating off day 0630-1630) and (3- 12hr shifts per week with rotating off days)

Scrub Color: Any color, green provided if in procedure
Parking: In assigned areas of hospital, parking deck
