Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Days
City/State: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Mon-Fri & one Sat/month, holidays required
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 05/25/2026
Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons; maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs.
- Participate in discharge planning, perform administrative duties, and pursue professional growth.
- Attend care plan meetings, develop care plans, and perform OT evaluations and treatments.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience required.
- BLS & NM or state licensure required.
- Acute care experience required.
