Description
Job Title: IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)
City/State: Bakersfield, California
Shift: 10 Hour Days, 07:00:00-17:00:00, 4x10s, Every Other Weekend, first to float
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 05/11/2026
Job Description:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing advanced interventional procedures, utilizing techniques and imaging equipment such as GE Innova and MedRad Injector. Responsibilities include patient preparation, assisting the radiologist, and post-procedural care. The technologist must support multiple campuses and be available for rotational call and weekend duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures including Dialysis Cath, IVC, TIPPS, and CT biopsy support.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Provide on-call support and rotational weekend coverage as required.
Requirements:
- ARRT (R), BLS Certification, Fluoro
- Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
