Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota
Shift: 12 Hour Variable
Contract Length: 96 weeks
Start Date: 06/08/2026
Job Description:
Registered Nurse required for Labor & Delivery unit to provide care for high-risk and low-intervention laboring patients. Responsible for managing labor patients and associated care as part of a dynamic medical team.
Responsibilities:
- Care for pregnant patients in active and inactive labor.
- Manage postpartum and couplet care.
- Perform IV starts, cervical checks, phlebotomy, and administer medications.
- Engage in EPIC charting and manage C-section circulations and recovery.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with South Dakota Board of Nursing approval.
- BLS and NRP certification required; ACLS and other certifications preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting and high-acuity labor patients.
- Level 3 or higher Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
