Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for a Medical Surgical unit. The role requires flexibility to float and occasionally manage overflow or step-down patients, though this is rarely needed. Must have the ability to work night shifts and be available for call, if dictated by census needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care on a General Med Surg Unit, including some post-op ortho and general surgery patients.
• Potentially float to ICU to manage Med Surg overflow or step-down patients.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Compliance with fingerprinting for all New Mexico travelers.
• Agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico for fingerprinting process.
