Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), ER

City/State: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Shift: 12H Nights, 2 on call shifts per 28 day schedule

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The ER RN is responsible for providing advanced and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in a Level 4 Trauma, STEMI Receiving, Stroke Center environment.

Responsibilities:

Responding to emergencies efficiently and effectively
Managing patient care for a variety of presentations such as CP, ABD pain, minor trauma, and respiratory distress
Performing conscious sedation and demonstrating critical thinking skills for conditions such as AMI
Maintaining patient and family-centered care and safety in a mixed acuity ER setting

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse license
Minimum of 2 years ER experience
Proficiency in conscious sedation and critical thinking in acute situations
Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
