Job Description:

The RN will provide critical care in the Med Surg ICU. Nurses will care for adults and pediatric patients over 15 years, administering treatments including respiratory, neuro, and cardiac support, and participating in code responses.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics.
• Operate and troubleshoot RT equipment such as vents, CPAP, and BiPAP.
• Float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU as needed.
• Participate in unit shifts and adhere to charting procedures with EPIC.

Requirements:

• 2 years recent ICU experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Must hold valid RN license and pass an open book exam during orientation with 90%.
• Comply with the facility's fingernail policy and uniform guidelines of navy blue scrubs.
