Job Description:
A Registered Nurse with expertise in the Medical/Surgical unit is required. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients within the unit, ensuring a high standard of nursing practice is delivered. Orientation is mandatory on specified dates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and develop patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to float as needed, excluding floating to Telemetry.
- Work four weekend shifts per six-week schedule block.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Medical/Surgical experience.
- BLS certification required with submission.
- Missouri or Compact licensure.
- ACLS preferred.
- Willingness to work holidays as needed.
