Job Description:
This position involves providing nursing care on a 5th-floor medical surgical unit (5N MEDSURG) during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- No call required
- Weekend shifts commitment
- Managing patient ratios of 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
- Operating equipment such as Wound vac, trach, suction, and IV pumps
Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS certifications
- Skills in Starting IV, Foley insertion/Management, NGT insertion/Management, and Drain Management
- Preferred skills in Chest Tube Management and Trauma Experience
